Job summary
Blue Origin seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II - D Shift in Titusville, FL to translate engineering designs into flight-ready manufacturing plans. Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong engineering fundamentals for mechanical design & manufacturing including GD&T.
- Solid skills in CAD and common office software (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Generate and close NCRs (Non-conformance reports).
- Craft manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists.
- Lead continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive transition from development to production and perform troubleshooting.
