Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring a Launch Ops Manufacturing Engineer on Space Coast, FL. The role focuses on manufacturing industrialization for new space technologies, including solar arrays and avionics. You will translate requirements into repeatable processes and develop documentation to support reliable production.

You will collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to improve efficiency, safety, and quality, while growing expertise in one key specialty area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering for Level II, 5+ for Level III, 8+ for SR.
• Experience creating English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of new products across solar arrays, integration/test, avionics, and structures.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Participate in FMEAs, risk assessments, and validate new lines.
