Job summary

Blue Origin in Titusville, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer IV (1st Shift) to lead end-to-end integration of New Glenn components. You will drive manufacturability improvements, oversee composites fabrication, and ensure quality and schedule adherence across the manufacturing flow.

Responsibilities include developing work instructions, performing root cause analyses, and coordinating with teams across large geographic distances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 7+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and manufacturing fundamentals.
• Ability to manage MBOM, write work instructions, and disposition non-conforming material.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
• Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule across manufacturing process.
• Perform engineering drawing reviews and provide final manufacturing approvals.
• Define and support repair and rework activities.
• Perform root cause analyses and deploy corrective actions.
• Craft material handling and packaging for hardware.
• Manage hardware configuration and pedigree.
• Prioritize procurement and fabrication and communicate priorities to team.
• Maintain strong customer focus with clear written and verbal communication.
