Job summary

WilmerHale is a leading law firm seeking a Manager, Lateral Partner Recruitment in Boston. You will drive growth by identifying, recruiting, hiring, and integrating lateral partners and partner-level groups across offices.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate with practice groups, search firms, and leadership, and maintain confidential communications and a high-touch candidate experience while leveraging market intelligence and pipeline metrics.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience, including 2+ years in legal recruiting.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of discretion with sensitive matters.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical and business judgment skills.
• Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative approach across seniority levels.
• Open to technological change as AI becomes integrated into practice.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic hiring opportunities with practice group leaders and firm management.
• Coordinate relationships with search firms and scheduling of candidate interviews across offices.
• Maintain professional and confidential communications among candidates, recruiters, and leadership.
• Own scheduling of interviews across multiple practice groups and offices.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates using market intelligence and firm networks.
• Track scheduling and pipeline metrics and report status to leadership.
• Manage end-to-end lateral partner recruitment process and candidate experience.
• Prepare materials for Partner Admissions/Management Committee presentations.
• Maintain accurate records in the firm's recruiting CRM/database and generate reports.
• Support budget tracking related to search firm fees and recruiting expenses.
• Assist the Director with research on prospective candidates and market trends.
