Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Sr. Manager / Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting to lead and manage senior-level partner searches across multiple offices.

The role partners with the Managing Director, Partner Recruiting and other leaders to drive search strategy, market intelligence, and candidate engagement through the full lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in attorney recruiting, exceptional relationship management, and strong ability to translate priorities into actionable work plans with

Qualifications

BA, BS or equivalent required.
Minimum of 8 years of attorney recruiting experience, especially partner recruiting or growth initiatives.
Strong research, analytics, and market-m intelligence skills.
Excellent project management, organization, and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to define search scope, criteria, stakeholders, and timelines.
Oversee day-to-day lateral partner searches from launch to onboarding.
Conduct market mapping across firms, geographies, and candidate profiles.
Prepare concise candidate summaries, business cases, and presentations for committees.
Develop tailored recruiting messages, briefs, and sector materials.
Coordinate with practice management, finance, conflicts, and other teams to collect required information.
Manage candidate communications, interviews, travel, and follow-up.
