Job summary

K&L Gates in the United States is seeking a highly organized Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator to support the Firmwide Lateral Partner Recruiting team and broader Legal Recruiting group. You will manage interview scheduling, candidate communications, due diligence, and records across offices and time zones.

This role handles candidate materials, tracking systems, and coordination with search firms, PALs, OMPs, and partners; you will generate status reports, assist with conflicts

Qualifications

• Prior administrative, recruiting, human resources, or professional services experience preferred; law firm experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred; advanced degree a plus.
• Proficiency in office software, including document processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic calendars, internet access, and applicant tracking and recruiting systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lateral partner interviews across offices, practices, and time zones.
• Prepare candidate background and interview materials using templates and candidate data.
• Update applicant tracking databases and maintain accurate candidate records.
• Communicate with candidates and search firms regarding timelines and feedback.
• Maintain due diligence files and monitor status of information for partners and leaders.
