Job summary

K&L Gates, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator in Dallas, TX. The role supports the Firmwide Lateral Partner Recruiting Team throughout the recruiting process, coordinating interviews, due diligence, materials, and communications.

The position requires strong administrative experience, proficiency with office software and applicant tracking systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• Prior administrative, recruiting, human resources, or professional services experience preferred; law firm experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred; advanced degree a plus.
• Proficiency in office software, including document processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic calendars, internet access, and applicant tracking and recruiting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new computer applications and functions.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with lawyers, management, administrators, and support staff and effectively establish and maintain productive relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, identify routine issues, seek guidance as appropriate, and adjust to changing priorities.
• Highly organized with strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lateral partner interviews across offices, practices, and time zones.
• Prepare candidate background and interview materials for Firm leaders and interviewers.
• Update applicant tracking databases and maintain accurate candidate records and materials.
• Process timely rejection communications to candidates and search firm representatives.
• Initiate preliminary conflicts processes and track status and information.
