Job summary

Andy's Frozen Custard is hiring a Crew Member in Illinois to prepare treats to Andy’s quality standards and provide excellent customer service. You will operate custard machines, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires at least 16 years of age, reliable transportation, and the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays. Training, cash handling, and a fast-paced team culture are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to work late nights (as late as 1am), weekends, and some holidays.
• Able to manage cash according to cash handling and banking policies.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to use touch-sensitive POS System.
• Maintain the Andy’s culture/values at all times, even during moments of high stress.

Responsibilities

• Memorizes recipes and standards.
• Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced.
• Ensures all custard/food items are prepared according to Andy’s standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness.
• Completes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribed.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard.
• Performs cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, washing dishes) to keep facilities sanitary.
• Follow and reinforce Andy’s operational policies and procedures.
• Follow and reinforce Andy’s Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy.
• Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a “customer comes first” attitude.
• Efficiently accepts orders, creates treats with accuracy, serves treat(s) to customers.
• Handles transactions and cash accordingly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
