Datadog in Boston is seeking a Manager, Sales Development to hire, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Development Representatives. You will guide prospecting for LATAM and help shape future Account Executives while contributing to a high-velocity pipeline in a hybrid work environment.

You will coach, ramp, and evaluate performance, develop forecasts for senior leadership, and foster an inclusive culture that enables reps to excel in Spanish-speaking markets and technology segments.

Qualifications

• Experienced in hi-tech direct sales
• Motivated by helping people grow
• Familiar with SaaS/Cloud and Salesforce
• Proven in your written and verbal communication
• Passionate about coaching, mentorship, and team management
• Able to work cross-functionally, leveraging your organizational and time management expertise
• Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Hire, oversee, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR)
• Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, teaching them how to assess company needs, cater strategically to each prospect, and handle potential objections
• Motivate your team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives to meet all goals
• Provide growth opportunities for SDRs to develop into full-cycle sales representatives
• Develop and maintain accurate team forecasts for the senior leadership team
