Job summary

Jitsu, a fast-growing urban last-mile delivery company in Reno, NV, seeks an Operations Manager to lead the site’s warehouse operations, including outbound and sortation, and to manage a rotating team of hourly associates.

You will drive safety, quality, and cost improvements, partner on P&L for your market, and collaborate with Client Operations and Central Ops to meet client commitments. Weekend, night, and holiday hours required.

Qualifications

• 4 years in last-mile delivery, 3PL warehousing, logistics, or last mile transportation.
• 3 years of experience managing teams in an operations environment.
• Proven ability to lead in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical skills with data; proficient in Google Sheets and leveraging AI to optimize workflows.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.
• Track record of building high-performing hourly teams.
• OSHA forklift certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily warehouse operations including outbound and sortation to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Lead a hands-on team of rotating hourly associates and plan workforce.
• Drive Safety, Quality, and Cost with continuous improvement initiatives across all operations areas.
• Champion OSHA compliance and safety culture.
• Manage inventory and bi-weekly orders to prevent stock-outs and control costs.
• Hire, train, and develop warehouse staff; build bench strength for volume increases.
• Partner with Manager on workforce planning and engagement.
• Assist with P&L management and use data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Client Operations, People, and Central Ops to resolve issues and meet client expectations.
• Support last-mile commitments and strengthen client relationships.
