Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Last Mile Site Manager in Tracy, CA to define, develop and manage operations and customer support programs that align with our Last Miles mission of service quality, customer satisfaction and profitability. You will supervise multiple locations and personnel across sites.

You will coordinate with haulers, drivers, call center and client management teams to ensure procedures are followed, while maintaining vendor relations and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent mathematical skills for discounts, commissions, percentages and measurements.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to develop creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of information between Haulers, Delivery Teams, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provide on-site presence to ensure procedures are followed.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of haulers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
• Maintain monthly operation reports with statistics and customer service scores.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
