Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Last Mile Site Manager in Tracy, CA. The role requires last mile management experience and focuses on defining, developing and managing operations and customer support programs to meet Maersk Last Miles goals for service quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will manage multiple locations and personnel, coordinate communications among haulers, delivery teams, and client management, and ensure on-site adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating figures and amounts.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to address a variety of problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow for communication between Haulers, Delivery Teams, Call Center, and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provide on-site presence to ensure teams follow procedures on a daily/weekly basis.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies and damage claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
