Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Last Mile Site Leader/Area Manager to join our team in a dynamic logistics environment. You will coordinate flow between haulers, delivery teams, call centers, and local client management to ensure on-site presence and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include recruiting and evaluating haulers, maintaining vendor relations, resolving shipping discrepancies, and ensuring high-quality in-home delivery while producing regular operation reports.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals.
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow for communication between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams.
• Provide on-site presence to ensure teams follow procedures.
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers.
• Develop and maintain relations with vendors.
• Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies and in-home damage claims.
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery.
• Maintain monthly operation reports with statistics and customer service scores.
• Other duties as assigned.
