Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to oversee contract carriers, optimize routes, and mentor a team across multiple branches. You will manage dispatch, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain compliance with company policies while building strong carrier relationships.

The role requires at least 5 years in logistics with supervisory experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and bilingual English/Spanish. Availability for varied shifts and travel between branches is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals; train staff on policies.
• Carry out managerial responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
• Supervise employees per laws and company policies; plan and direct work.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve daily issues.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Take photos for every job.
• Allocate and request additional resources as needed.
