Job summary

RXO in the United States is seeking a Supervisor, Last Mile Operations to lead a team and ensure efficient delivery. You will assign work, train associates on equipment and procedures, and monitor tool availability.

The role requires 2 years in supervision and 5 years in logistics, plus strong communication, math and leadership skills. Schedule Tue-Sat 5am-3pm and you will contribute to safety, inventory control, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
• At least 5 years in logistics and/or transportation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical abilities; outstanding interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance
