Job summary

RXO, Inc. in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager to oversee daily carrier operations, plan routes, monitor performance, and build strong customer relationships.

You’ll lead and mentor staff, hire and train team members, ensure compliance with policies, and use route planning software to optimize delivery networks and dispatch. This role offers growth and a clear path in our logistics network.

Qualifications

• 5 years of logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and maintain schedules.
• Develop staff through training and coaching on policies and procedures.
• Conduct interviews, hiring, discipline, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
• Supervise and guide employees, including planning and directing work.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify route improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
