Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Last Mile Operations Lead in Florida to guide day-to-day home delivery services and oversee warehouse operations. You will coordinate with site leadership, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and develop staff to strengthen existing processes. A reliable vehicle is often required for field duties.

The role requires supervisory experience, logistics knowledge, and strong communication. You’ll work with carriers and internal teams to optimize routes and service levels.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years of logistics and/or transportation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily.
• Use operational metrics to identify improvements and create actionable plans to improve the business.
• Train material handlers to meet performance goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Foster positive working relationships with warehouse team, contract carriers, driver helpers.
• Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas and restructure routes for efficiency.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers and warehouse personnel to meet customer expectations.
