Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Lead, Last Mile Operations for the 2nd shift in West Columbia, SC. You will supervise a team, drive operational efficiency, dispatch contract carriers, and partner with site leadership to optimize routes and service levels.

The role requires 4+ years in operations and strong leadership, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The shift runs Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, providing opportunities to impact performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in operations.
• 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and day-to-day operations.
• Lead a team of associates, ensuring process efficiency and safety.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
