United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Laser Production Technician (Starlink) in Redmond, WA to contribute to the production of Starlink satellites. You will follow strict work instructions, assemble sub-assemblies, and operate automated equipment in a clean room environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of hands on work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company.
• Associate degree.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
• Experience setting up and running tests and experiments.
• Proficient use of PC, Windows, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build small electrical sub-assemblies by following work instructions precisely to ensure quality.
• Perform optic assembly processes, including epoxy application, UV curing, and oven curing.
• Fiber optic splicing and fiber routing.
• Operate automated equipment with maintenance and troubleshooting guidance.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, track calibration schedules.
• Work in a clean room, adhering to cleanliness protocols.
• Perform test setups to support developments across test regimes.
• Manage schedule priorities and independently execute work to meet deliverables.
