Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Production Technician to join our Starlink program in Redmond, WA. You will build electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, install PCB assemblies into chassis, and assemble solar modules and battery components for spaceflight hardware.

This hands-on role requires reading layouts and schematics, performing functional tests, wiring, soldering, and using automated equipment. The position offers four shifts, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years hands-on experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Able to read drawings and assembly procedures.
• Experience with electrical wiring and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical sub-assemblies and mechanical assembly of satellite components and final vehicle integrations.
• Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Build battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
• Perform wire harnessing, soldering, and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes.
• Conduct functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
• Operate complex automated equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support development of prototype test capabilities for spacecraft components and life tests.
• Assist in identifying, installing, and implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform test setups across thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration regimes.
