Job summary

HealthTronics is seeking a Laser Support Engineer to be the technical expert for medical laser service, training, and field support. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diverse laser systems, develop training programs, and drive service process improvements at customer sites and in-house.

The role emphasizes deep laser experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Nationwide travel and airport access are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics/electromechanics.
• 8+ years hands-on medical laser service experience.
• Strong electronics and electromechanical troubleshooting background.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing medical laser systems from multiple manufacturers.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training for laser equipment.
• Technical writing experience for service documentation and bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training programs for medical laser systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for Field Service Engineers, mobile operations, staff, and customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of medical laser systems from multiple manufacturers.
• Perform equipment service and repairs in-house and at customer sites.
• Support the expansion of the laser service business and develop capabilities with other teams.
