Job summary

Amada is seeking a field service technician to support customers with installation, service, training, and software support for Amada lasers and machines in the Clifton, NJ area.

You will travel within the territory, perform troubleshooting and programming tasks, document daily service reports, and provide hands-on training to customers. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Electronics or a two-year degree with related work experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter and Oscilloscope.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and train customers on Amada machines, software, and applications.
• Travel within the designated territory and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Communicate effectively in English and provide customer training and support.
