Amada America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with Laser Cutting Machines, with and without Automation. The role includes installation, service, and ongoing maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.

The position requires regular travel within the Northern California and Northern Nevada region, and close coordination with other departments. You will complete service reports, expense reports, and necessary technical documentation weekly, while maintaining

• Experience with installation and service of Laser Cutting Machines (with or without Automation).
• Regular travel to customer sites and coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to maintain customer relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Complete installation of laser cutting machines.

• Submit weekly service and expense reports and maintain technical documentation.
• Maintain excellent customer and coworker relations.
• Complete internal paperwork (urgent parts requests, purchase requisitions, etc.).
• Travel regularly to customer sites.
• Provide feedback to management on machine and customer issues.

To support customers with (but not limited to Laser Cutting Machines with and without Automation. This includes installation and service. Provides field service to ensure customer satisfaction. Take continuing education on new machines and technologies. Not exclusive to the same functions as other Amada machines. Region will encompass Northern California and Northern Nevada.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Complete all aspects of the installation:
• Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
• Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
• Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
• Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.)
• Regular travel.
• Provide feedback to the manager on any machine and customer issues that require further action.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.

SKILLS

• Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.

• Excellent relational skills (with customers, coworkers (senior and junior), and management).

Routine travel, with overnight and weekend stays as needed.
