Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Community/Economic Development, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in non‑profit program management, community organizing, adult education, or cooperative enterprises.
• Strong facilitation and conflict‑resolution skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional communication with immigrant, underserved and marginalized communities.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about worker cooperatives and collective decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, outreach, and enrollment efforts.
• Coordinate selection and onboarding of cooperative members.
• Meet with training participants to assess needs and barriers.
• Provide training with consultants on business planning, governance, and leadership.
• Develop workplans and coordinate weekly and bi‑weekly meetings for cooperative incorporation.
• Promote inclusive, language‑justice‑centered practices throughout development.
• Prepare progress updates, reports, and documentation.
