Job summary

Masa in the South Bronx seeks a Bilingual Program Associate to provide immigration case management, in-person support, and Know Your Rights presentations within the community.

You will conduct intake assessments, perform immigration screenings with attorneys, collect data in Excel/Google Docs/Salesforce, and help with outreach, flyers, and referrals. This is a full-time, in-person role through 6/30/27 in Masa offices.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google suite; Salesforce familiarity a plus.
• Experience working with immigrant and Indigenous-speaking families a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community members, schools, and organizations to recruit participants for Masa’s Pro Se Plus project.
• Support outreach efforts and create flyers and communications materials.
• Manage immigration interest forms, waitlists, and prioritize cases.
• Conduct intake assessments and immigration legal screenings; refer to providers.
• Collect and enter data into Excel, Google Docs, and Salesforce.
• Coordinate with supervisor and legal partners to update educational materials reflecting policy changes.
• Conduct Know Your Rights presentations in community settings and NYC Public School system.
• Support Masa events and cross-train volunteers for Pro Se Application Assistance clinics.
• Other activities as needed.
