Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of system-wide translation and interpretation systems.
• Participate in strategic planning related to language services across the system.
• Provide leadership and accountability for quality monitoring and improvement initiatives for translation and interpretation services.
• Establish and maintain relationships with management, staff and medical staff to support LEP and Deaf/HOH.
• Design activities to promote Translation and Interpretation Services within the health system.
• Develop capital and operating budgets with the director and monitor variances.
• Manage staff, provide training, performance reviews, and personnel actions.
• Participate in safety initiatives and risk mitigation measures.
• Oversee HR responsibilities including coaching on performance.
