Landscape Gardens, Southeast Michigan’s leading choice for large-scale landscaping and hardscape projects, is seeking a Landscaping Sales Representative to join our growing team in Troy. We serve Oakland County and offer a strong lead generation pipeline for design/build, maintenance, installation and enhancement sales.

This role features a competitive compensation package with earnings potential of $100,000 to $110,000 base plus commission, health insurance, paid time off, a company vehicle,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of landscape sales experience, including design/build, maintenance, enhancement and snow sales.
• Knowledge of plants and hardscape for high-end residential projects.
• Basic knowledge of materials and labor costs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client and prospect visits to sell company services.
• Promote the design/build, maintenance, enhancement, and snow programs offered by the company.
• Maintain strong relationships with current and former clients for enhancement opportunities.
• Compiling information gathered from meetings.
• Conveying clients needs and goals to Designer based on scope of project.
• Coordinating with Designer & client for design/build projects.
• Preparing final proposal encompassing all details.
• Discussing proposal with client.
• Closing the sale.
• Identifying and developing new client relationships.
• Attending networking events to develop new business.
• Developing strategic partner relationships to create an ongoing pipeline of referrals.

Located in Troy, Michigan, our team of highly trained landscape professionals comes together to create an outstanding company culture! We serve Oakland County, and are a 20-minute commute from the Detroit area.

Our sales position is fueled by a strong lead generation pipeline that allows for sales in design/build, maintenance, installation and enhancement sales. We offer a competitive compensation package that provides earning potential of $100,000- $110,000 (base + commission). We also offer health insurance plans, paid time off, a company vehicle and the opportunity to work with a driven team of highly motivated individuals.
Requirements for the Landscaping Sales Representative:

• 3+ years of landscape sales experience including design/build projects, maintenance, enhancement and snow sales.
• Demonstrated knowledge of plants and hardscape for high-end residential projects or other construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of materials and labor costs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, spoken and written, internally and externally.
• A valid driver's license and clear Motor Vehicle Report required.
