Role and Responsibilities:
The Landscape Sales/Design Representative provides an excellent client experience through sales in landscape design, installation, and maintenance for commercial and residential clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-home and onsite consultations to understand client needs and creating comprehensive proposals.
- Performing site evaluations to assess soil, slope, drainage, structures, and utilities.
- Preparing and obtaining approval for estimates before presenting to clients.
- Creating digital or hand-rendered designs and graphics.
- Selling custom landscapes, outdoor living spaces, lighting, and more.
- Assisting clients with material selection and providing value-based recommendations.
- Presenting proposals professionally to maximize sales.
- Following up throughout the sales and production process.
- Maintaining records of leads, proposals, and communications.
- Prospecting new business by developing relationships with builders, developers, and small businesses.
- Planning and executing marketing strategies through calls and industry events.
- Supporting installation by coordinating with the production manager.
- Acting as a liaison between clients and production staff to ensure project clarity and quality.
- Participating in site visits, meetings, and client walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications and Education:
- Education in a landscaping-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry-specific sales experience with proven success.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
