Job summary

Landscaping Services, Inc. (LSI) in Nashville, TN is seeking Landscaping Enhancements Crew Members to join a family-oriented team. You will install plants and hard materials, mow lawns, trim shrubs, and operate landscape tools while following safety standards.

We offer full-time, year-round employment with a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM. Applicants should have at least 1 year of landscaping experience and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns using power mowers.
• Trimming and edging using gas-powered tools.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape growth or remove damaged leaves or branches.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing on burlap for truck.
• Perform weeding by hand or with a hoe.
• Adhere to safety standards and use proper equipment.

LSI is a national award-winning, second-generation family-owned and operated grounds management firm headquartered in Nashville, TN since 1988.

The Landscape Enhancement Crew Member is a critical part of our team who is responsible for:

• Landscaping Enhancements Crew Member will be Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers.
• Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Landscaping Enhancements Crew Member will be picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and placing onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe.
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.

Skills We’re Seeking

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
