Job summary

Landscape Services, Inc. (LSI) is seeking Landscape Construction Crew Members to join our team in Nashville. This full-time, year-round position offers weekends off and a family-oriented work environment with benefits.

The crew member will install plants and hard materials, mow lawns, trim edges, operate blowers, prune shrubs, and perform general landscape maintenance while adhering to safety standards. We value teamwork and a strong work ethic in a growing Middle Tennessee company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install plants and hard materials.
• Cut lawns with power mowers.
• Trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
• Operate a gas-powered blower.
• Trim shrubs and low trees with shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Pick up leaves, trash, and cut grass and load onto burlap and onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or with a garden hoe.
• Follow safety standards and use proper equipment.

Landscape Construction Crew Member is a critical part of our team who is responsible for:

• Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers.
• Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and placing onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe.
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
