Landscape Services, Inc. (LSI) is seeking a Crew Leader for our Landscape Enhancement team in Middle Tennessee. The role focuses on guiding a field crew, operating equipment, and delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance and installation tasks.

You will supervise a crew, drive trailers, and work on planting, lawn care, and hardscape installations with safety and efficiency as priorities.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year landscaping experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass drug screen & background check.
• Physical: stand, walk, lift up to 70 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Lead a crew of landscaping staff on daily tasks.
• Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and skid steers.
• Drive and trailer equipment safely (12-14 ft trailers).
• Install plants and hard materials as part of projects.
• Perform routine lawn maintenance and edging.
• Ensure safety standards and proper use of equipment.

The Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader is a critical part of our team who is responsible for:

• Driving and operating 12-14' trailers and skid steers
• Installing plants and other hard materials.
• Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers.
• Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operating a gas-powered blower.
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and placing onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe.
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.
• Supervising a crew of employees.

Skills We’re Seeking

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
