Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a dependable Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, trimming and landscape maintenance across assigned properties. The role emphasizes safe handling of equipment and chemicals, following plans with the Crew Leader, and delivering quality work on schedule.

The candidate should have 2+ years landscape experience, be 18+, and able to read maps; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Able to safely work alone and display quality and thoroughness in work product.
• Ability to train new laborers.
• Able to follow plans as shown on a map of property.
• Dependable; arrives on time and commits to required hours.
• Organized, hardworking, safety conscious, punctual, leads by example, self-motivated, honest, customer service-driven.
• Effective communicator with written and verbal instructions; bilingual EN/ES a plus.
• Accountable; dependable attendance and timeliness; follows directions.
• Solutions-oriented; applies feedback to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe).
• Carry out landscape maintenance functions on site, including weed control and chemical applications requiring licensure.
• Store, transport, mix and apply chemicals per law.
• Follow installation plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment, tools, and supplies on truck.
• Maintain equipment and workspace according to safety policy.
• Perform tasks safely and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Participate in required training programs.
• May transport crew members to/from site in company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as required.
