Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, edging, mulching, pruning, fertilization, weed control, planting, and related landscape tasks on assigned properties.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, applying chemicals with required licensure, following plans with the Crew Leader, maintaining safety, and ensuring timely, quality work. A valid driver license is preferred; pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Able to safely work alone and maintain quality.
• Ability to teach and train new laborers.
• Able to follow plans shown on property maps.
• Dependable with timely attendance and flexible hours.
• Organized, hardworking, safety conscious and punctual.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• 2+ years landscape installation experience.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• State Technician/Applicator license per local requirement.
• Pre-employment drug screen/background/MVR may be required.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe).
• Perform landscape maintenance and licensable chemical applications.
• Store, transport, mix and apply chemicals lawfully.
• Follow installation plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean daily.
• Work safely and efficiently per safety policy.
• Keep job site, vehicles, trailers and warehouses organized.
• Inform supervisor of on-site issues or accidents.
• Participate in training programs.
• May transport crew to site in company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as required.
