Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, mulch, trimming, and landscape maintenance across assigned properties. You will work under a Crew Leader and Operations Manager to complete various landscape tasks efficiently and safely.

The role requires experience in landscape installation, the ability to read plans, and adherence to safety and licensing requirements. A valid driver's license is preferred, with potential pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in landscape installation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Holds, at a minimum, a State Technician and/or Applicator license per local requirement.

Responsibilities

• Running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.)
• Spray weed control and other chemical applications requiring licensure
• Stores, transports, mixes and applies chemicals in accordance with the law
• Follow plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment, tools, supplies on truck
• Comply with equipment maintenance program and clean equipment daily
• Perform tasks safely and use tools per safety policy
• Keep job site, vehicles, trailers, warehouses and offices safe and organized
• Inform supervisor of problems on site or with equipment
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements
• Ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
• Participate in training programs
• Possibly transport crew members to site in a company vehicle
• Perform other duties as required
