Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Member to perform lawn care, mulching, pruning, planting and related landscape tasks on assigned properties. Responsibilities include operating equipment, applying weed control and licensed chemicals, and ensuring safe, efficient project completion.

The role requires reading architectural drawings, 2+ years in landscape installation, and a valid State Technician/Applicator license per local rules; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Holds at a minimum a State Technician and/or Applicator license per local requirement.
• 2+ years of experience in landscape installation.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.).
• Apply weed control and licensed chemical applications.
• Store, transport, mixes and applies chemicals per law.
• Follow plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain safety and keep site, vehicles, trailers, warehouses and offices clean and organized.
• Inform supervisor of problems, accidents, or supply issues.
• Work to assure timely completion of all tasks.
• Participate in required trainings; may transport crew to sites.
• Perform other duties as required.
