Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Fresno, CA is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across diverse properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial equipment safely, and help maintain plant materials and features.

The role requires physical work outdoors, lifting up to 40 lbs, and a valid driver’s license for fleet vehicles. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is expected; BrightView provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climates.
• Valid driver’s license for BrightView fleet vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim edges.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape or health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
