Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across a variety of properties in Fresno, CA. This role involves basic landscaping tasks under supervision, operating standard equipment, and assisting with plant material upkeep to ensure attractive outdoor spaces.

The candidate should be at least 18, physically capable of lifting 40 lbs, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Able to operate landscaping equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up debris and maintain clean grounds; report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
