Addison Group is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer in The Woodlands, TX to drive new business growth for landscape construction and installation projects. You will own prospecting, pipeline development, proposals, and contract closures while building relationships with property managers, developers, and owners.

The role offers a $70,000 base plus 4% commission on install projects, with a first-year sales goal of $750K to $1M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales success in landscaping, construction, property/ facility management, or related services.
• Self-generated new business, not inherited accounts.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices a plus.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation project opportunities.
• Develop customized proposals and sales presentations tied to client needs.
• Negotiate and close contracts in line with pricing and profitability standards.
• Build long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers.
• Serve as primary contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth handoff to operations.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to drive satisfaction, upsell, and retention.
• Stay informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends.
• Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.
• Partner with estimating, operations, and project management on accurate proposals and delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the CRM.
