Job summary

Virginia Landscape Group is seeking a skilled Sales professional to generate new residential and commercial lawn care clients and manage existing accounts in Virginia. The role emphasizes a base salary plus bonus with opportunities to leverage industry knowledge to tailor treatments and maintenance plans.

Responsibilities include cold calling, creating timely estimates, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and coordinating with Production to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping/lawn care or a related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with technology sales and business development.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new clients via cold calling and electronic means.
• Create estimates in a timely fashion to close sales.
• Maintain pipeline of sales leads and client inquiries.
• Develop understanding of lawn care and landscaping needs.
• Analyze lawn conditions and recommend treatments and maintenance plans.
• Develop business development strategies to drive sales growth.
• Utilize technology sales skills to identify new opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Use company software to track client interactions and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Negotiate with clients to provide services meeting needs and budgets.
• Coordinate with Production Assistant to schedule projects and procure materials.
