Job summary

Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care is seeking a full-time Account Manager to oversee a base of residential landscape clients in Northern Virginia. You will meet clients on-site, identify improvement opportunities, propose projects, and close sales, combining account management with sales and landscape knowledge.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, project recommendations, and collaboration with operations to ensure execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, outside sales, or consultative sales.
• Landscape industry experience (maintenance, installation, or related field).
• Solid understanding of plants, turf, and growing conditions in Northern Virginia.
• Comfortable closing sales and guiding clients to decisions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Meet with existing clients at their properties and build long-term relationships.
• Walk properties to identify improvement opportunities.
• Recommend projects such as planting, drainage, sod, and landscape enhancements.
• Prepare clear, professional quotes and close sales.
• Upgrade clients into better-aligned service programs.
• Generate referrals and develop new business.
• Track opportunities in a CRM system.
• Work with the operations team to ensure strong execution.
