Job summary

Northwest Landscape Services, part of Monarch Landscape Companies, seeks a Business Development Manager in Tacoma, WA. Lead B2B sales efforts, present tailored service portfolios, and build long-term client relationships across Oregon and Washington. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in sales, and a valid driver's license.

Travel is extensive, with a focus on corporate clients and property managers. Responsibilities include creating accurate estimates, handling RFPs, and achieving sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years related work experience and 3+ years B2B sales experience.
• Valid driver license and state/federal compliance as required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Operations to develop and negotiate a profitable services portfolio.
• Manage opportunities in the client database to provide sales visibility.
• Develop prospects for long-term profitability through cold-calling and market research.
• Prepare job estimates and bid proposals with accurate site measurements.
• Respond to RFPs promptly and professionally; aim to meet annual sales targets.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, proposals, and client presentations; expand client relationships.
