DJ's Landscape Management in Holland, MI seeks an experienced Landscape Construction Operations Supervisor to lead and manage landscape construction and enhancement teams. The role includes daily crew dispatch, planning, and ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

During winter, the supervisor oversees snow operations for a geographic area, driving performance and coaching team members to meet company standards. Strong leadership and industry knowledge are essential.

Job Id: 3315 # of Openings: 1 Landscape Construction Operations Supervisor The Landscape Construction Operations Supervisor plays an essential role on our team by leading and managing the team members providing Landscape Construction and Enhancement services in accordance to customer expectations, company values, and safety standards. The Supervisor role reports to the department Operations Manager and is directly responsible for the oversight of 10-25 team members. Coaching and development of the team members, service-delivery/quality control, scheduling & planning, management of area resources, and driving productivity are all key focuses of this role. Successful Landscape Construction Operations Supervisors have strong leadership skills and have experience and knowledge in the area of Landscape Construction and Enhancement services (heavy equipment operations, installing plants, trees, patios, retaining walls, boulder walls, etc.). During the landscaping season, this role is responsible for daily crew dispatch (starting around 7 a.m.) and supporting crews throughout the day. During the winter season, an Operations Supervisor becomes responsible for a geographic area of our snow operation, overseeing all aspects of snow and ice management services and team member performance.

Requirements

• Supervision of production crews
• Development and coaching of production crews
• Planning, organizing, and preparing to ensure services are provided in a productive and efficient manner
• Ensuring costs of materials, equipment and production are kept accurate, and that jobs are completed to client specifications.
• Manage compliance to quality standards and safety procedures
• Organize and care for assigned resources
• Development and coaching of production team members utilizing a hands-on approach
• Properly submit production related information
• Other duties as assigned
• Previous experience supervising and leading crews
• Landscape Industry experience desired, but not required
• Desire and ability to embody the Core Values of Safety, Collaboration, Professionalism, Accountability and Achievement
• Basic MS Office proficiency
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
