DJ's Landscape Management in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead a hands-on team in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance services.

You will oversee mulch installation, pruning, bed edging, perennial care, weeding, and spraying, while ensuring safety and equipment readiness. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the green industry and/or supervisory experience is preferred for Crew Leader position
• Requires a Chauffeur's license (or the ability to obtain one) and a smart phone
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Desire to work with a team to accomplish goals
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift for extended periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions for an extended period.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping Maintenance Crew Leader performs mulch installation, pruning, bed edging, perennial care, weeding, and spraying.
• Crew Leaders prepare and drive company equipment, direct and develop their crews to ensure quality work and safety.

These tasks include mulch installation, pruning, bed edging, perennial care, weeding, & spraying. Crew Leaders are responsible for preparing and driving company equipment, directing, and developing their crews to ensure quality work is performed, caring for equipment, and ensuring safety. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this is a hands-on position which allows you to take full ownership in accomplishing the work in the field.
