Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a licensed or experienced Landscape Architect in Tennessee to lead and support land development and public-sector projects. The role requires strong design and coordination alongside a collaborative team, with emphasis on client interaction and project delivery.

You will review design criteria, support proposals, guide teams, and manage monthly billing while utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, LandFX, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Experience on land development or public-sector projects.
• Professional licensure or certification (preferred).
• Several years in a planning or design environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review design criteria, technical documents, and specifications through project phases.
• Support leadership with proposals and project staffing.
• Guide project teams to meet deadlines.
• Oversee monthly project billing for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage project design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Lead meetings with clients, agencies, contractors, and consultants.
• Handle other project-related tasks as needed.
