Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Jacksonville is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead the landscape architecture team, directing design across a range of public and private projects and shaping the growth of the practice.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive business development while collaborating with planning and engineering teams to deliver coordinated, site-wide solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in landscape architecture.
• Licensed Landscape Architect (RLA).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
• Strong design and technical skills across all phases of a project.
• Experience on public and private sector projects including parks, civic spaces, mixed-use sites, streetscapes, and site planning.
• Strong communicator and leader who can manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the landscape architecture team and set growth direction.
• Oversee design and technical delivery across project types.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Support business development and project pursuits.
• Mentor junior and mid level staff.
• Manage scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with in-house engineering and planning teams to deliver coordinated designs.
