Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Atlanta is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect to lead design from concept through construction across urban design, mixed-use developments and civic spaces.

You will drive business development, win projects, mentor junior designers, and coordinate with architects, engineers, planners and environmental consultants to deliver sustainable, community-focused environments with measurable social and economic value.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 8+ years of professional experience with leadership and BD.
• PLA license preferred.
• Proven success in winning work and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development—identify leads, prepare proposals, and help secure new projects.
• Foster relationships with developers, city officials, and institutional clients.
• Lead project teams and oversee design from initial concept through final delivery.
• Mentor junior designers and landscape architects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and environmental consultants on integrated design solutions.
• Represent the firm at industry events and help grow market presence.
