Job Title: Litigation Associate (Landlord-Tenant / Administrative Law)

Location: Manhattan, New York

Salary: $165,000 – $200,000+ Bonuses commensurate with experience

My client, a well-regarded Manhattan real estate law firm, is seeking an Administrative Law / Landlord-Tenant Associate to join its growing team. Known for its collaborative culture, long-term client relationships, and strong internal progression, the firm represents property owners, developers, and condo/co-op boards across New York City.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle a steady caseload of administrative law and landlord/tenant disputes before agencies such as the DHCR, NYC Commission on Human Rights, and the NYS Division of Human Rights, as well as in Supreme Court. The firm also provides mentorship, a path to partnership, and a flexible hybrid schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Be Doing:

-Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including agency filings, Article 78 petitions, and due diligence reports

-Litigating administrative matters, including rent overcharge, succession, harassment, discrimination, and deregulation issues

-Appearing before DHCR, OATH, NYS Division of Human Rights, and NYC Commission on Human Rights

-Advising clients on Rent Stabilization Law and affordable housing programs

-Participating in business development and client relationship initiatives

What We're Looking For:

-3–7 years of experience in administrative law and/or landlord-tenant litigation

-Strong knowledge of NYC Rent Stabilization Law and Code

-Experience appearing before administrative agencies and courts

-Familiarity with affordable housing, voucher programs, and fair housing laws is a plus

-Excellent legal writing, research, and client communication skills
