Our client, a mid-sized law firm specializing in landlord-tenant matters, is seeking an entry-level or junior associate to join its team. This position will be based in the firm's office in New Hyde Park, Long Island, and will focus on legal writing for landlord-tenant matters. It offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, representing clients in various stages of real estate matters and landlord-tenant disputes.

The salary range for this position for attorneys admitted to the New York State Bar Association is $75,000 - $100,000. The salary range for this position for attorneys pending admission to the New York State Bar is $70,000 - $75,000. The actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including the level and relevance of experience.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organization in legal document drafting and editing
• Ability to synthesize complex legal and factual issues into clear, concise written communications
• Familiarity with or interest in drafting real estate-related opinion letters
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Experience with landlord/tenant matters is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice tools (e.g., Westlaw, Clio, NetDocuments, or similar)
