Job summary

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County's Office of Homeless Services is seeking a Landlord Engagement Manager to advance the mission of ending homelessness by applying systems thinking and data-driven approaches. The role leads the Low Barrier Housing Collective, a public-private partnership that supports landlords willing to rent to individuals exiting homelessness.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with supervisory/administrative experience, or Bachelor's with 5+ years supervisory/administrative experience.
• Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Landlord Engagement team toward strategic goals and ensure tasks are distributed and completed.
• Provide coaching and development to LE staff.
• Build relationships with landlords, developers, property managers, and housing associations to expand affordable housing opportunities.
• Represent the Office of Homeless Services at community meetings to advocate for affordable housing access.
• Facilitate collaboration with community partners and stakeholders to strengthen landlord engagement.
