Job summary

All Chicago MHH in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Landlord Engagement Coordinator to grow housing options within the city's homeless response system. You will conduct housing location services, perform inspections, and build strong relationships with landlords and property managers.

The role collaborates with tenants, landlords, and partners to ensure compliant housing placements, coordinate viewings, investigate conditions, and support program administration under the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public administration, social work, business administration, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in property management, housing management, real estate, social services, or related fields.
• Experience with homeless services and housing programs preferred.
• Excellent professional writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with landlords, property managers, and housing partners to expand access to safe, affordable units for program participants.
• Provide housing search and location services, identify available units, coordinate viewings, and support the tenancy process.
• Conduct virtual and in-person inspections to ensure units meet standards and document findings.
• Communicate inspection results and required actions to landlords, tenants, and partners.
• Collaborate with external partners to review processes and ensure compliant housing placements.
• Adhere to workflows, participate in team meetings, and act as an ambassador for All Chicago MHH.
